Two Important Research Events for You

Published: Tue, 12/29/15

Hello, , from NHERI and Dr. Ray.

The Context

This message is brief, but important. You know that NHERI does research all year long. And we help other researchers with their studies.

Today, you can be a vital part of the research that NHERI does. Today you have two opportunities with this.

First Way to Participate

The first way is for you to be an actual participant in my new international study. The purpose of this international research initiative is to identify, understand, and compare barriers that parents face in choosing to home educate their children.

I’m convinced; get me started now.

Results of this study will be used to help equip parents to make more informed decisions in the education of their children, and to propose solutions for removing barriers to homeschooling. It will be presented at the Global Home Education Conference in Brazil in 2016.

All data will be confidentially analyzed. All results will be presented in an anonymous way. You will receive a free summary of the research results if you want one. Please take the survey and help us with this internationally important project.

Your Second Way to Participate

It takes time to do research. It takes money to do research. NHERI receives no government funding, no tax dollars. NHERI and its research are funded by volitional cheerful giving. By people like you.

Now is your big opportunity to keep this research going. It would be great if you were to do this by Thursday, December 31st. What would you be promoting and supporting?

The National Home Education Research Institute is a nonprofit research organization – a think tank – dedicated to doing basic research on parent led home based education (homeschooling, home schooling, unschooling), serving as a clearinghouse on all such research, and educating the public and parents about home based education.

NHERI provides parents, journalists, scholars, policymakers, courts, and the general public with factual truth. NHERI does and interprets research findings from a liberty-loving and scriptural worldview. [note 1]

Your donation, no matter how relatively large or small it is, is a BIG HELP to our work at NHERI. It serves people around the world.

I will let the words of the late Christopher Klicka, attorney and well-read author on homeschooling, make a comment on why you should support NHERI:

"Dr. Brian Ray is a nationally recognized authority on home education research. NHERI research is comprehensive and a powerful resource tool …”

Also, would you consider praying for NHERI into 2016?

Happy and Blessed New Year!

P.S. Your donations help NHERI and Dr. Ray (1) keep up with new research to give you the truth about what is happening in the United States and around the world regarding homeschooling freedoms, research, and insights and (2) be ready to speak to scholars, journalists, courts, policymakers, and parents.
