If you are a scholar interested in homeschool research, we invite you to consider submitting a paper.

The Home School Researcher (HSR) is an open-access, peer-reviewed journal. It was founded in 1985, 40 years ago. The journal focuses on homeschooling research (or home education or homeschool research), or topics related to parent-led or student-led home-based education. Topics and research methods and approaches covered are wide-ranging.

If you do not have a paper at this time, please tell a colleague or doctoral student about HSR.

We invite you to submit your basic research or theoretical paper to the journal. We also receive “editorial” or “opinion” pieces that do not go through the same rigorous peer-review process.
